This daily itinerary will take place in the valley of the Sambuco stream (Sambuco is a Hamlet close by Ravello). Participants will be conducted through the Valley to discover the Saint Nicola ancient convent.
They will be immersed in a magic atmosphere characterized both by amazing views of the Amalfi Coast villages and the internal mountain environment surrounded by woods.
They will reach, through an easy mountain path, Minori, where they will have the opportunity to visit and taste high quality artisan products, which still characterize the village’s life.
Please note: the itinerary is 4.5 km long, with a gradient of 440 meters. Total steps from Ravello to Minori are 900. Excursion of medium-high difficulty, recommended for people in good physical shape.

|10:15 am||Leave the Duomo and walk towards the Hamlet Sambuco di Ravello|
|10:50 am||Arrival in Sambuco di Ravello. Leave Sambuco di Ravello and walk towards San Nicola’s convent|
|11:45 am||Arrival and visit of San Nicola’s convent. San Nicola’s Convent is located on the sheer face of the mountain. It was built in 1468 and was used as an ecclesiastic protection site from pirates’ attacks; in fact, its natural position allows a wide view of the Salerno’s Gulf, as well as the Tramonti’s Valley and the Advocate’s Convent|
|12:00 am||Leave San Nicola’s convent and walk towards the village of Minori|
|12:20 pm||Arrival in Minori, aperitif in a limoncello production facility. This is a family owned business, one of the first producers of the area. The owner will explain the production techniques needed to produce the limoncello, as well as other famous Amalfi coast’s specialties, such as the “Amalfi sfusato”. Demonstration, tasting session and possibility to purchase the local products|
|12:50 pm||Leave the limoncello production facility and walk in a local restaurant for a typical lunch|
|1:00 pm||Lunch featuring the local culinary tradition with delicious dishes based on fresh made pasta
|2:50 pm||Leave the restaurant and walk towards “Il Pastaio”, a pasta making laboratory. This is a family owned and run business. The owner had been working in an hotel for years, before deciding (8 years ago), to adventure himself in this business|
|3:00 pm||Visit of “Il Pastaio” where participants will see how fusils, trofie and gnocchi are made from scratch. Demonstration and possibility to purchase the local products|
|3:25 pm||Leave “Il Pastaio” and walk towards a ceramic art craft facility called “Ruocco Vittorio”. This 35 years old unique artisan will perform a demonstration on how to create ceramic plates and vases|
|3:30 pm||Visit to a producer of mosaic art crafts called “Gala Placidia”, with a demonstration of the ancient production process technique, still in use today. Possibility to purchase the local products. The business is able to ship/deliver the purchased mosaics overseas|
|3:55 pm||Leave the ceramic art craft facility and walk towards “De Riso” pastry. This family owned pastry (more than 20 years of activity) is well known for the quality of the production, as well as the fame of the owner, guest in very popular Italian shows|
|4:00 pm||Visit the well-known pastry shop “De Riso”, where the famous Salvatore will explain the secrets of preparing typical Amalfi Coast desserts, such as “Lemon delight”. Demonstration, tasting session and possibility to purchase the local products|
|4:30 pm||Leave Minori and reach Ravello by a public bus|
|5:00 pm||End of the excursion (Piazza Vescovado, Ravello)|
