Destination weddings have always been about creating unforgettable memories in picturesque locations like Amalfi and Cilento Coast. From sandy beaches to historic castles, couples seek unique backdrops to celebrate their love. But what if we told you there’s a way to elevate the wedding experience even further? Enter cooking experiences—a delightful fusion of love, food, and travel.

The Perfect Blend: Cooking and Romance

Imagine whisking your partner away to a charming villa, surrounded by lemon trees and sea. As the sun sets, you both don aprons and gather fresh ingredients for a hands-on cooking class. Under the guidance of a skilled chef, you prepare a sumptuous Italian feast—pasta from scratch, fragrant sauces, and delectable desserts. The aroma fills the air, and laughter echoes through the rustic kitchen. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a memory etched in your hearts forever.

Farm-to-Table Magic

For eco-conscious couples, farm-to-table cooking experiences are a dream come true. Picture exchanging vows in a sun-kissed orchard, surrounded by olive trees. After the ceremony, guests gather for a farm-fresh feast. They pick heirloom tomatoes, pluck herbs, and collaborate on a seasonal menu. It’s not just about the taste; it’s about connecting with nature and celebrating love’s bounty.

The Grand Finale: Wedding Banquets

What better way to celebrate love than with a grand feast? Destination wedding banquets can be a culinary tour de force. From Mediterranean mezze to Thai curries, each dish tells a story. Couples can collaborate with chefs to design personalized menus that reflect their journey together. And as guests raise their glasses, they toast not only to the newlyweds but also to the flavors that brought them together.

In Conclusion

Cooking experiences add a dash of flavor to destination weddings. They’re more than just meals; they’re shared moments of joy, discovery, and love.

Cheers to a lifetime of delicious memories!

Let's do it again: your Wedding on the Amalfi Coast!

Let’s do it again: your Wedding on the Amalfi Coast!

Italian Wedding & Amalfi Coast Private Event

After dark periods and months of uncertainties, Italy is finally back and Weddings as well. It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for!

The Campania Region, a few days ago, launched a new security protocol for the resumption of the activities of Wedding and Private Events that will begin in early June.

For all the couples of betrothed, who between moments of joy and moments of uncertainty, had a thousand questions about what their marriage would be like, how many loved ones could have been invited and what could have been done or not during their Wedding Ceremony on the Amalfi Coast, without giving up the Wedding of their dreams, here are some rules to be followed:

  • Location & Organization
Each location must provide security measures to be respected during your ceremony by organizing available spaces to ensure the distance between the guests. In addition, the location must have the guest list 14 days prior to the event.
  • Keeping the distance!
During your Wedding Ceremony, the tables will be arranged respecting the distance of at least 1 meter among the guests, both for outdoors and indoors. Only exception: to be part of the same family.
  • Masks, masks, masks
Your guests will have to wear the mask in every internal room when they leave the table. However, for outdoor ceremonies, the guests must wear the mask only if they can’t respect the distance of 1 meter.
  • Even the buet has its own rules!
For lunch or dinner, the Bride and Groom can choose a buet service served at the tables or self-service, only for single portions and always avoiding gatherings.
  • Can you dance?
If you’ve planned live music or a band that will entertain your guests during the Wedding, it will be mandatory to respect the distance of at least 2 meters between the artists and the public. Be careful! It will be necessary to avoid occasions of aggregation, in particular, in indoor locations.
  • Self-declaration & Green Pass
Your guests must fill out a self-declaration form and submit a green pass, a sort of certification which attests to possible vaccination or recovery from Covid or still negativity to the tampon carried out 48h before the ceremony.

You can’t stop dreams!

How to plan a small and intimate Wedding on Amalfi Coast!

2021 Wedding – How to Plan an Amalfi Coast Elopement

If you are planning a romantic escape for your Wedding Day, the perfect location for your elopement wedding is undoubtedly the enchanting Amalfi Coast. And if the pandemic period altered your wedding plans, an intimate elopement is the best choice!

The Amalfi Coast is one the most popular destinations of the Italian seaside, located in the south of Naples between mountains and the blue sea, and gathers pastel-colored villages perched on the cliff overlooking the sea, Ravello, Sorrento, Atrani, the maritime town of Amalfi, Minori and Maiori, not to mention the gorgeous islands… just some of the flawless frames for your Special Day. The narrow streets, the mediternnean sea, the vibrant sun, the scents, the culinary tradition and local customs will definitely steal your heart!

And what about if you don’t live in Italy? Yes, I know! It could be difficult to figure out how to plan your
elopement wedding on the Amalfi Coast. Here, come my tips!

HIRE A PLANNER

First things first, an elopement wedding represents just a fraction of what a big wedding costs, so hiring a professional wedding planner can still be an affordable option for you. Don’t think twice, you’re gonna need it!

CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION CAREFULLY

Can you imagine your elopement day? The location where you will exchange your vows should be reflective of your love, your kind of relationship and how you would love to spend your special day: in a luxurious ancient villa, in a lush garden, on a sea-view terrace, on a private beach or on a boat! From there, I will help you find the perfect place to elope, a place where you can feel connected with the beauty of our Coast and love!

HIRE AN OFFICIANT & MAKE IT LEGAL

It’s very important to look into the legal laws of the country where you’re planning to elope in order to know in time when you need to register, what papers and requirements you need to have. For this reason, being able to rely on a professional figure will be crucial to make your elopement wedding legal to all effects.

INVEST IN YOUR VENDORS

The florist, the make-up artist, the hair-stylist, the photographer or videomaker, the caterer must be absolutely reliable and professional people and who know the area to perfection. A wedding planner like me will find the right contacts for you and manage the planning process with the vendors without any concerns for you and your groom-to-be.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS VIRTUALLY

For an intimate ceremony the right choice is to live your elopement just for yourselves or to share this romantic moment just with your parents. And your friends? They can attend the ceremony virtually!

ENJOY YOUR HONEYMOON

On the Amalfi Coast you will not only live the most important day of your life, but also an unforgettable honeymoon. I can plan for you the second part of your elopement as well, book your stay in the best hotels in the area or arrange tours and excursions just for you. What more could you ask for?

Are you already daydreaming? Book your trip!

Christmas is coming and… my tips too!

Winter season is about to start and the Christmas spirit has totally enveloped us! How could we not think about presents? And since there is nothing more exciting than giving and receiving gifts, even your guests deserve a surprise on your wedding day!

Weddings are not just about brides & grooms, guests also matter.

If you’re planning on having a destination wedding in our wonderful Coast… for sure your guests are out-of-town and they will travel a long-long way just to join your big day. What can be better to thank them than welcome bags stuffed to the brim?

Here I share my tips about the perfect welcome bag to ensure your guests the-time-of-their-lives throughout your wedding celebrations. It’s a gentle way to show your gratitude to your guests for coming and make them feel really special to you!

First of all, you should consider what packaging you want to use. Your welcome bag can be a mere paper bag or can be turned into a box or funny basket. But, the real issue regards what to fill a welcome bag with. Let’s go and see!

Start telling your guests how thrilled you are about their attendance through a heartfelt welcome note from you and your groom – maybe it would be better to add a personalized map for your guests who aren’t as familiar as you with your destination wedding or  itineraries and excursions to let them enjoy the area – Capri Island, Pompei, Herculaneum,  Naples, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, we can plan a lot of activities.

After this, mini bottles of fresh water are a must! You should add some beverage or traditional liquors of your destination venue – such as mini Limoncello bottles with customized labels as a typical favors of our Coast to get the party started! Another favor surely loved by your guests will be yummy treats such as candies, mints or locally made sweets to give to your guests a taste of our land and ensure no one gets hungry before your party dinner. And then why not insert paper fans to your wedding bags – really useful with summer temperatures of the Amalfi Coast – and never forget tissues for happy tears!

The best way to make even happier your guests and their welcome bags even more equipped you should include a pair of flip-flops for ladies and cigars for men. These items will definitely make them feel comfortable to the full. Wait, wait, wait! Give a final and playful touch including a sort of post-party ‘recovery kit’ for all those friends who will have more than a drink.

Last but not least, I wish you merry Christmas Holidays & a breathtaking New Year planning with me your dreamy destination wedding.

With love,
Alessandra
