Tips for a Perfect fall Wedding

Autumn is not only the season of the first rains but also of those wonderful sunny days whose heat is not at all excessive,
in fact pleasant! I would say the climate that still allows you to think of a reception taking advantage of outdoor spaces as well.

From October and November onwards, landscapes are tinged with warm and harmonious shades of bold oranges, vivid reds, ruby hues and warm yellows.
All nuances that by the way can also be used as your wedding theme, imagine the mise en place with these colors combined with the whiteness of white!
Colors that can also be used in graphics for invitations or bridesmaids’ dresses.

About the wedding dress. The fall season offers you more opportunities to range over a vast number of models: long-sleeved or three-quarter sleeves, in lace or other fabrics, for a truly dramatic effect.
As for the look, autumn season is also perfect for going to embellish your hair with wreaths of flowers, leaves or even berries.

Most importantly, though, as far as your make-up is concerned, which, going back to the topic of temperatures,
will not run because of the heat and you will therefore be more likely to stay flawless until the end of the day.

S&S: the golden years!

a 50th Wedding Anniversary

A lifetime love-story between a world-famous Italian Ship Commander and his wife!

When a couple reaches such a milestone, it’s customary to renew love promises with a religious ceremony,
just like the time the very first ‘Yes, I do’ was pronounced.

From South Africa, S&S came back to Italy to celebrate one of the most important moments of their life!

Their love story began more than 50 years ago.
Sandra and Salvatore were just two teenagers who lived a few meters away in a neighborhood of Southern Italy;
She was the most beautiful girl Salvatore had ever seen and he was the most lively guy she had ever known.
How not to fall madly in love?

Since their first meeting, they have spent their lives together among sea, projects, dreams, ships and family.
Salvatore step from the Navy to become president of MSC Cruises in South Africa traveling all over the World and
reaching the most important life goals with Sandra by his side. Nowadays, Salvatore is best-known as the Captain of
Shosholoza, the Italian man who challenged the America’s Cup letting people remember the last name Sarno.

On the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, the boundless love for the sea and their roots
brought them back to their hometown in the Church of Saints Simon and Judas Thaddeus
to celebrate their love again and again.

After an intimate religious ceremony, the couple held a total golden party in Capo d’Orso inviting
their guests to a Michelin-starred dinner in the prestigious restaurant Il Faro di Capo D’Orso.

The most special event for the most special people in the flawless setting of the Amalfi Coast planned with ‘all the love in the World’!

A Familiarization trip in Cilento!

Do you remember the Roccacilento Castle we talked about in the last news?

In a magical atmosphere, in a world of sensations, in tribute to Cilento – land of longevity and good food- between 11-12 May 2023 a significant event took place: a long dining table with 30 wedding planners from all over the world planned by our team!

The event called Familiarization trip is an opportunity for professional interaction and sharing in a relaxing and magical venue.

Typical products, bespoke wine and extra vergine olive oil (well known as EVO oil) bottles used as candelabra surrounded by laurel, olive, myrtle and flower petals used to refer to the beauty of lush nature and the genuine and excellent food: a nature’s gift!

By the time the pandemic hit, most couples of betrothed sent out the greater part of their Wedding stationery or save-the-date cards at least. And if you’re planning to have a micro-Wedding celebration, you should rethink the paper items you already have without ordering new invitations. Then, add to your invitations a ‘change of plans’ card to send out to your closest family and friends and that’s it!

Choose Wisely

Most likely, you & your Groom want to invite everyone you know to celebrate your special day… But the premise of a micro-Wedding is to celebrate your love just with your closest relatives and dearest friends. Hence, choose wisely your loved ones!

Adjust your Wedding Design

Even if you may want to go with the very same color-palette and flower arrangements you initially chose, I suggest you opt for something different for your micro-Wedding. There are so many blooms and color schemes, don’t get stuck just on the first one!

In order to keep everyone safe, you should go for a single-serve Menu… Mini-bottles of sparkling water, fresh drinks or wine for each guest and pre-plated appetizers with a mix of everything or small portions of fresh culinary specialties for food. Your guests will appreciate it!

Pay attention to the Details

Details are what make your celebration unique to the two of you, so don’t underestimate them for your micro-Wedding… Without a huge number of guests, including personal touches will be more doable! Things like personal vows, calligraphy place cards, serving a favorite dish for dinner or interactive ceremony elements that get your guests involved can make your day unforgettable!
