A Wedding in the name of Nature planned by Wedding Amalfi

M&S are two extra-ordinary human beings who live in total respect for nature and in a very deep mutual love.

Like many couples, S&M, want their Wedding Day to be unforgettable: from the ‘Yes, I will’ to the ‘Yes, I do’ I was by their side.
Here, I’ll tell you some details about their life and story… they’re Salvatore and Michela!

Salvatore is a landowner and Michela works as a nutritionist using natural products to give wellness to her patients. Their love is so real and strong
They respect and support each other in their work and personal adventures
and truly wanted to share the rest of their lives together.

Where to set up the flawless Marriage Proposal? Definitely on the Amalfi Coast!

On the occasion of the marriage proposal, with my complicity, Salvatore planned a great surprise for his beloved Michela tooking part in a photoshoot in Positano made by the well-known photographer Gianni Di Natale. After the shooting, Salvatore booked a room and arranged a dinner on a private terrace to make that day by far the most romantic one.

At the end of the dinner, the waiter brought a cake with two flutes of champagne: in Michela’s one there was the ring! And then what? On September 18, they chose Saint Peter Church in Cetara and Giardini del Fuenti to celebrate their Love.

Nothing was left to chance, every single choice made by the couple during the planning process of their Wedding Day had its symbolic meaning: the Church honors Saint Peter, a great worker and wise man, just like Salvatore is!
In his company, La Palma, Salvatore helps people who arrive in Italy looking for a better life, donating lands and teaching them to cultivate and produce high quality products. The products are sold throughout Italy under an important Italian brand, Conad, with particular names: the tomato is called ‘R Accolto’, in Italian stands for the fusion between the words collected and welcomed. Moreover, the fishing village of Cetara for its history and tradition strongly linked to his work ideology and Giardini del Fuenti, the perfect venue where beauty and nature coexist, exactly like they wanted.

The key elements were generosity, prosperity, roots and nature!

This was the reason why their cards were printed on paper containing seeds. Their guests received the cards with steps to plant those seeds that will tell the story of their love again and again. Every single detail of M&S’ Wedding speaks the language of nature and love: from the original tableau de mariage to the monogram on their wedding table made of asparagus, fennel, wheat, broccoli and olive tomatoes kept together by the initials of the newlyweds names.

A Wedding I will remember forever!

The Cathedral of Ravello is one of the most ancient Catholic Church of our Coast, built in 1086, takes the main square of the town overlooking the entire cliff. Since that time, it has undergone various makeovers, in the 12th and 17th centuries, and again totally restored in 1973. By the way, the interior preserves its authentic ancient charm with a wide central nave and two aisles artistically decorated with valuable gold mosaics. Moreover, the ancient columns, the marbles, the century bronze door, treasures from Roman times and paintings by southern Renaissance artists are surely worth a look. And…if you’re planning an elegant and romantic wedding this Church with its incomparable beauty will provide the perfect setting creating a mesmerizing effect all around you!

Also known as the historical Duomo of St. Andrews, is doubtless one of the most impressive Church of Italy. The Duomo rises in the main square of Amalfi, at the end of an imposing staircase composed of sixty-two steps leading to the doors. Also this one has been renewed several times adding romanesque, byzantine, gothic, and baroque elements. It’s structure includes four small towers adorned with arches and covered with majolica tiles. An extraordinary place to keep your wedding vows forever just in the heart of the Amalfi Coast!

The Church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Atrani

The Collegiate was built in 1274 on the ruins of a medieval fortress on the initiative of the inhabitants of Atrani to thank the Saint, who released them from a handful of sailors. Nowadays, the Church has definite architectural characteristics, such as the dome of majolica and an elegant bell-tower of the 16th century. It’s the best site for an afternoon wedding, on the ringing of the church bells there will be a wonderful sunset waiting for you and your guests!

To sum up, these are just some of the wonders of this corner of land, several other exist. No country in the world can compete with the choice of venues that Italy boasts for a religious ceremony. Thus, I’ll stand by you, in every step, towards the choice of your #destinationlove. You just have to say “Yes, I do!”.

Top-Tips for choosing the right Wedding Veil for your Bridal dress

Have you ever been to a bridal fitting of a dear friend of yours? If you’ve been there, then you surely know that the moment a Bride-to-be first wears her Wedding Veil with her gown is one of the most emotional moments. A white veil is a simple accessory, but once worn will give that fairy-tale touch to your entire look and you will feel to all effects a Bride!

Here, my Top-Tips to make the right choice when it comes to your Wedding Veil.

Consider your Wedding Vibes

First of all, think accurately about your Wedding Vibes! All Brides think they should wear a Wedding Veil according to custom, but if it’s not in line with your ceremony don’t feel like you have to wear it. Sparkling tiaras, fresh flower garlands or hairpins are another good alternative.

Matchy or not?

Once you find your Bridal Dress, you should choose a veil that enhances your gown. The Wedding Veil should complete your look in line with other accessories and never draw attention away from the Bride and her dress.

Focus on your Venue

If your ceremony is taking place in a majestic Church, you might consider a traditional long Wedding Veil. On the contrary, if you’re going to tie the knot outdoors, you could go for a shorter one, the fabric of the veil could easily be ruined on a lawn or on a beach.

Don’t forget your hairstyle

Before choosing your hairstyle, you should keep in mind your Wedding Veil. Most Wedding Veils work well with down hairstyles, but if you’re thinking about keeping your hair loose, hence, you should choose a plain veil that fits with your hairstyle.

Which kind?

Last but not least, let’s talk about the style of your Wedding Veil. There are so many types of veil, some are simple others are full and voluminous. Traditional Veils are the most versatile, instead, Spanish ones, also known as Mantillas, are simple veils trimmed in delicate lace and fastened to a comb or even Embellished ones, are veils embellished with lace, embroidery, silk petals, or beading. It’s up to you.

For my special day, I chose a traditional veil 9 meters long, one meter for every year of engagement as the ancient Italian tradition wants.
